Secrets of woman’s intuition

Have you ever felt a gut in your stomach that something is not like it should be? You may call it an instinct or intuition too. It’s not a new thing. There are a lot of stories from a long time ago, before cell phones and the internet. When women were at home waiting for their husbands to come from hunting. Wishing for a letter from their loved ones to say they are alive and okay. Not knowing what month are in pregnancy and how their child is progressing. And beside all the technology women are still evolving in their intuitive thinking.

“The scariest thing about intuition is realizing too late that you were right.”

Who is intuitive person?

Some feel it stronger and some not that much. But the feeling develops sooner or later. It’s not like men don’t have a gut or instinct. But they are more secret about it. Over the years they learned to hide their feelings and repress them. Maybe they feel it in their gut but don’t know what it is, so the women are better with it.

Like a mother who always knows what is going on in her family. That bond when she sees in your eyes and you can’t lie anymore. The bigger sister who knows you are scared to tell your parents about your grades. Or the little one who is there to cheer you up on your bad day. The not crazy girlfriend who knows her boyfriend is getting distant. And all you girls out there you are not alone.

Is it a talent or a natural instinct?

Surely it is not something you are born with. That is a feeling that is built. Starting with the relationship you have with your parents. Whether it is fulfilling, reassuring, more distant, very independent it can be inspiring.

The human instinct

Like the animals, humans have instincts too for adaptability in the environment we live in. Our instinctive behaviors improved our ability to survive and reproduce. Like your primary needs. You need water, you need air. Human intelligence also evolved so that we have remarkably good abilities to detect intentions of other humans in social interactions. Like everyone else you need a secure place, a home, a bond and lots of love.

Our human instincts include fear, denial, revenge, loyalty, greed and our urge to procreate. Now they are not so helpful as they were for our ancestors and their adaptations.

Intuitive empath

This is considered as talent because a woman takes care of everyone in a very natural way. She is always attentive to everything, understands everyone's desires more easily and so on. It also includes a special and protective love.

Theories suggest that women have an enhanced ability at reading facial expressions and emotions; we are much more likely to pick up on subtle emotional messages and read things like tone of voice and body language much better than men.

Is intuition a gift or curse?

The women's instincts most certainly must be seen as a gift. Bad situation intuition is a savior for life. You better be safe than sorry.  It's some powerful stuff. But a curse is not. it can only felt that way when you are not ready to be right. When it hurts a lot and you can't shove in other people's faces. Because you knew it.

Remember, the ability to become more intuitive is within your power, you just need to be receptive to the gift that it is in you.

Examples of intuitive situations

Intuition comes in handy in a variety of situations. In relationships, family situations, or social dive. When you are thinking about your kids all the time when they are out. When you feel in your gut something beautiful is coming your way.

Mother baby bond

For some of the mother it doesn’t happen immediately when they learn that are pregnant. Some women need time, day, week, month. But after that, the bond is unbreakable. Mother bonds with a not biological child too. That nurturing feeling just clicks in her.

A mother knows when her kid is hungry before it says. Knows it’s plan for the trouble before it thinks about that.  And mother always knows the best.

So mothers in the world when you have a bad gut about your child talk to them. Maybe they just have a bad day, but maybe it’s something deeper. When you don’t trust their friends take to know them better.

Trusting your gut in relationship

Equity theory is about interpersonal relationships. In the relationship between two people, both give and receive something. In addition to that the relationship continues to exist with the believe that both sides receive equal and proportional amount like they invested.  And even if it seems like everything is perfectly accounted, but your intuition kicks in - TRUST IT!

1.You feel the need to talk about something with your partner

Maybe the silent nights are just a need of rest. You two should be comfortable in your silents. But when you feel like your partner has something to tell you though he doesn’t know how, don’t ignore that feeling. And in the conversation listen each other side.

2. You sense he is getting cold

Spending a lot of time with someone, you are getting to know them in deep and intimate way. He may think his act is good because of keeping his routine. But your instinct tells you something is off.

Maybe both of you after a long time together just got used to the safety and familiar things. Doesn't mean you need to be concerned, but you may do something about it. It can be something like checking in with each other through the day. Or plan a trip in the near future, somewhere new, you both never been.

If he doesn't show some appreciation of what are you trying to do, you are better off without him!

3.He spends more time staring at the phone, not at you…

Social media suck us in and it's too late till we realise, we've already missed it. Try having phone - free time. You can talk about everything you sow on social media till that moment. But looking in the eyes and listening to your opinions, not to some people who you don't even know in person.

Gut feelings always have a message for us. See it and accept it openly.

4. Your gut can make your partner to open up

Nobody can hold it in for a long time. Your partner can sense your suspicious mind. Maybe he will need some time, but he'll come clean about the truth.

Work on your mutual trust and appreciation.

Bad gut feeling something is wrong

In bad company

A lot of people spend a lot of money they don’t have and do staff to impress people they don’t like just to blend in the group. It’s hard to get out since you are in deep. So you should reconsider your plans and goals for the future and compare with the people you associate with.  If you have any intuition about a bad influence ask yourself, “What do I really need here? What’s important for me?” and focus on you.

Health issue

We live a fast life, eat fast food, never enough time to look in the mirror. A dot, a wound or a bruise can be only that. But it can mean something more. Sometimes when you feel in pain it’s okay to be scared. Ask for professional help and be persistent about it. It’s your life and you deserve a long one.

Wrong turn

Have you traveled with uber or with other strangers? It always feels good  when you have help.  But sometimes they take a road you don’t know. When the gut starts kicking you know you need to get off the road. Never overthink it, but stay safe.

And sometimes you’ll be alone and take a wrong turn. If your intuition says it’s good, proceed it. Dive into the unknown, maybe it was the right thing you needed.

Ultimately, your intuition is your friend. It's there to guide you, give you a heads up, and, in some cases, even protect you from harm. So trust in it, have honest conversations with your partner, and let it lead you to the truth.
